LIAM’S BACK FOR GIRLFRIEND’S 35TH BIRTHDAY

CHERYL Tweedy had a birthday surprise yesterday when her boyband lover Liam Payne flew in from America to join her 35th celebrations.

The former One Direction star had been due to perform in the US last night but instead spent the day with Cheryl in London. The pair, who have son Bear, have not been seen in public together for four months.

Liam, 24, was scheduled to be away but his gig was cancelled, meaning he could spend precious time with the ex-girls Aloud star and their one-year-old son.

Rocked

Earlier this week Cheryl was alone at a Prince’s Trust event hosted by Prince Charles.

The singer was accompanied by her personal assistant Lily England rather than Liam, who she’s been dating since 2016.

The couple, who were rocked by split rumours earlier this year, haven’t attended an event together since the Brits back in February.

Since then Liam has been flying around the world promoting his new music. He performed in New York and Chicago in June and was due to play in Kansas last night before the radio station that organised the gig cancelled it. Cheryl meanwhile has been working on her new album along with running her charitable trust and looking after Bear. In her first social media post in over a month, Cheryl thanked fans for their birthday wishes.

She posted a selfie on Instagram and wrote: “Go shorty it’s my birthday. Thank you so much for all my lovely birthday wishes .. very kind of you.”

Girls Aloud pal Nicola Roberts wrote: “Happy Birthday beautiful.”
