Ripper wants to live with Polish pen pal
DELUDED FIEND’S SICK LETTERS TO TEEN GIRL
THE Yorkshire Ripper is besotted with a teenage Polish pen pal and wants to start a new life with her in Eastern Europe.
Deluded Peter Sutcliffe, 72, will never be released from prison but has told Victoria, aged 17, they will be together.
The monster, jailed in 1981 for killing 13 women and trying to kill seven more, plans to appeal against his whole-life sentence.
And despite going blind and having a white stick, the fiend believes he can live with her anonymously, and cheaply, in the former Communist country.
Criminology fan Victoria became interested in the serial killer after seeing a TV documentary about him.
A source told the Sunday People: “She has been writing to him and talking to him on the phone for months and they have become increasingly close. She has promised him she will be there for him when he comes to Poland.”
Baby-faced Victoria lives in a flat in a rural village with her parents and their dog.
She has sent gifts, including chocolates, but wardens confiscated them. He has sent her forms to visit him at HMP Frankland, Co Durham, where he spends his days watching TV, including Mrs Brown’s Boys and X Factor.
She would not be allowed to visit without a parent or guardian because of her age.
The source said: “Victoria has kept her parents largely in the dark about their relationship because she is terrified they will forbid it and stop her travelling to the UK.
“They knew she was writing to a man in England but they didn’t really know anything about him. They’re just a normal family but are now really worried after properly looking into his past.”
The source added that she had developed strong feelings for Sutcliffe, despite the age gap and a recent tiff.
Last night authorities faced questions over why the correspondence with a girl of Victoria’s aged has been allowed. When he was at Broadmoor Hospital mail that could cause distress or danger was withheld.
