Killer’s suicide bid after seeing Mylee on CCTV FIEND MOANS CCTV PUSHED HIM ‘OVER EDGE’

- By Dan Warburton

A MAN who killed his daughter to spite his ex tried to end his selfpitying life after seeing footage of his eight-year-old victim.

Monster William Bingham stabbed little Mylee to take revenge on her mum.

He apparently tried to kill himself in his prison cell during his trial, which ended with a jail sentence of at least 27 years after he was convicted of murder.

Later he whined that seeing shop CCTV of his daughter alive sent him “over the edge” so he slashed his wrists.

But dad-of-six Billingham, 55, survived. And his whingeing continued with letters from jail that claimed his only crime was loving his girl too much. The letters show no remorse for stabbing Mylee with a kitchen knife. He killed her just hours after being recorded with her on CCTV.

Billingham, who signs the letters “Love Willy” wrote: “It’s all exaggerated bulls**t but I expected nothing less from the sewer rats.

“The so-called relationship was over and done many years ago.

“But I admit I would lie, do and say whatever it took to keep my time with the girls cos that was all I lived for.

“If it’s possible to love your children too much then I am without a doubt guilty. It is an horrendous time and the video of myself sent me over the edge and resulted in me hurting myself. I just wanted to be with her. I hope you understand I am OK and still have all my family and friends supporting me.”

Billingham has boasted of how pals at his local passed a phone around so he could chat to them after they set up a memorial garden for Mylee, who he killed after her mum Tracey Taundry, 34, started a new relationship with a woman.

He also bragged of how his brother Mark, who appears in hit Channel 4 series SAS: Who Dares Wins, had rubbed shoulders in the past with Tom Cruise and rock band the Stereophonics.

In new letters Billingham wrote: “I’m stressed, tired and emotional in here.”

Birmingham crown court heard how he killed Mylee in Brownhills, West Midlands, in January after dragging her into his home as she pleaded: “Please Daddy, no Daddy, stop it.”
