KARMA & Goaded Jose still desperately seeking

-

THERE have been few real pure joy memories for Jose Mourinho in his time at Manchester United.

The Europa League final, the comeback to scupper Manchester City’s title party last April and maybe more vitally for his immediate future the 3-2 win over Newcastle a fortnight ago.

The one moment that will eclipse them all – a win at Chelsea – was tantalisingly within reach in the west London sunshine before evaporating in a red mist of mayhem.

Despite all his trophies and despite his stellar reputation, until that victory arrives Mourinho’s world will never be complete. Disrespected. Ungrateful. Irreverent. Mourinho feels all of those slights whenever he goes back to Chelsea.

That was clear from his wild reaction to another piece of Chelsea goading that triggered pandemonium following Ross Barkley’s equaliser in the sixth minute of added time after a breathtaking second half at the Bridge.

Mourinho can just about deal with moronic Chelsea fans airbrushing from history the three titles he won with them while in charge.

But he won’t stand for the people who now sit on the Chelsea bench dancing over his current predicament at United. Antonio Conte tried it in his first season at Stamford Bridge and got a few harsh words in his ear to spark a feud that lasted his entire stay in England.
