DANCING on Ice’s Wes Nelson is destined for a romance with skate partner Vanessa Bauer, according to his ex Megan Barton Hanson.

Megan and Wes split last month, shortly after she slammed Vanessa for failing to invite her to training sessions for the ITV show.

The Love Island star also claimed Vanessa’s split from boyfriend Louis Nathaniel was “tactical” before confirming her own break-up with Wes days later.

Now Megan, 24, says she thinks Wes and Vanessa will end up as more than just skate partners.

She said: “It wouldn’t shock me if they got together.

“They’re both so career driven. They do have a lot in common.

“If that’s what they do, then it’s up to them. It would sting a little bit. It wouldn’t be nice.

“It will be rubbed in my face and I think a lot of people would be smug and laugh at me.”

Megan hit out at Vanessa, 22, in January, during the early days of Dancing on Ice, saying in an Instagram post: “Love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your first performance with my boyfriend.

“You’ve never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train. It pained you to introduce yourself to me. You didn’t even look me in the eye.” Vanessa, who is getting weekly praise on t he show f or her performances with Wes, 20, has now reached out to Megan to try to patch things up but Megan has refused.

“It’s three months too late,” she says. “I don’t see the point of meeting her, now I’m no longer with Wes.

“I reached out to her at the time, , gave her my number and she didn’t want to reply then, so I don’t see what use meeting her now is going to do.

“As a woman, spending that much time with someone’s boyfriend, d, she should have reached out and introduced herself at the time.”

Megan and Wes were together er for six months after meeting on Love Island in the summer – and the reality eality TV star admits she’s still in n love with him.

She said: “I wish I could get back k together with Wes. If he was five years older, er, or I was five years younger, r, it might have worked. Right now, our priorities rities are very different. “I want to o find someone to spend my life with, h, go travelling with, go o for nice meals and nd be wined and dined. ned. “Wes has been given this amazing azing opportunity and he just wants ts to capitalise on it, which is fair enough. ugh. At 20, I’d be exactly the same.

“I still love him. You can’t spend end that much time with someone and then fall out of love instantly.”

Yet she says she’s no longer ger watching Dancing on Ice to see his performances with Vanessa.

She said: “It’s not a bit of me but I hope Wes does well. Hopefully he’ll win but I can’t say I’ll be tuning ng in every Sunday.” In a bid to move ve on, Megan was pictured on a wild night out in Brighton last week, twerking, drinking and dancing.

She said: “I’m not going to lie, the pictures were very embarrassing, but I’d just been through a break-up.

“I could either sit at home, cry into a tray of doughnuts and drink wine, or go out and party with my girls. So that’s what I did.

“It was my first ever personal appearance at a club. I felt like Mariah Carey – everyone was cheering me and wanted pictures. It was my moment.”

Not short of male attention, Megan could have her pick of fellas but says she’s not yet ready to move on from Wes.

She said: “The thoug thought of even kissing someone is w weird. I’ve never been like that.

“In the past I always alwa said in order to get over someone som you need to get under someone some new.

“But I’m still in love with Wes. It’s just because of circumstance circ that it didn’t work out. out

“We have a flat toge together so we need to sort that out. We’re W trying to stay friends. We’re talking. t
