Ole agent in pow-wow with Glazer Everton want Bielsa to halt Silva slump
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER looks to have moved a step closer to landing the Manchester United job after his agent held talks with club co-owner Avram Glazer yesterday.
Glazer saw United win 3-0 at Fulham to go fourth in the Premier League – a 10th win in 11 games for caretaker Solskjaer since taking over after Jose Mourinho was sacked.
Solskjaer’s adviser, Jim Solbakken, was also at Craven Cottage and had talks with co-chairman Glazer and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward about the club’s plans.
Solskjaer revealed Glazer visited him in the dressing room after the game to talk to him in private.
The Norwegian said: “I just spoke to him because he came into the dressing room.
“Who I meet and when I meet people is not really up to me to tell.” JURGEN KLOPP saluted his Liverpool stars for putting their title bid back on track against Bournemouth.
After successive Premier League draws against Leicester and West Ham, Liverpool re-posted their credentials with an emphatic 3-0 win over Eddie Howe’s side which took them back to the top.
Goals from Sadio Mane, Georginio Wijnaldum and Mo Salah sent Klopp’s men three points clear of Manchester City, who play Chelsea today.
