PAUL Hollywood’s ex-wife yesterday denied yelling abuse at his new love in a supermarket slanging match.
Alex Hollywood, 54, was said to have had a row at the checkout with 23- year- old barmaid Summer Monteys-fullam.
The pair had clashed after bumping into each other at their local Marks & Spencer – where onlookers say Alex called Summer “a whore” and “a slut”.
The row, which also involved Summer’s mother and sister, then spilled over into the car park.
But a spokesman for Alex insisted yesterday: “Alex has kept a dignified position throughout the last 14 months, which have been extremely challenging, and continues to do so.” Other shoppers at the store in Canterbury, Kent, had branded the alleged tirade “disgusting”.
But the spokesman added: “Alex was shocked to bump into Summer in her local supermarket, but even in that difficult situation she did not, and would not ever, , verbally y abuse anyone.”
