Joanna Dennehy Rose West

- By Dan Warburton

ROSE West has been moved out of her cushy prison cell after more than a decade because another notorious serial killer threatened to murder her.

House of Horrors fiend West burst into tears as prison chiefs packed up her belongings for a secret transfer after psycho stabber Joanna Dennehy was moved to the same jail.

Insiders at top-security Low Newton where West, 65, has been held for more than ten years say she was gutted to lose her easy life.

But jail bosses feared Dennehy – who enjoyed stabbing three men to death – would carry out a similar attack on West after saying: “I’ll kill that bitch.”

Threat

A source said: “Rose West lived a life of luxury in there.

“She’s got it made because she’s in the lifers’ unit. She doesn’t even leave her cell and they bring food to her.

“So she was gutted when she had to leave. She was in tears and the prison officers just packed her things up. She was really upset. She didn’t want to go.

“It’s been her home for more than ten years and West is an elderly woman.

“Low Newton is the highest security prison for women in the country and they had to send Dennehy there.

“She’s one of the UK’S most dangerous inmates. She said,

‘Send me there and I’ll f***ing kill Rose West.’

“Prison officials took the TWISTED Joanna Dennehy knifed three men to death and took chilling pictures of herself with a viciouslooking zombie knife

Psychiatrists diagnosed her as having psychopathic, anti-social and emotional instability disorders.

Dennehy picked on men during her bloodthirsty rampage around Peterborough and said she did not want to kill a woman, especially not a woman with children.

It was reported she had wanted to kill nine men in total.

threat seriously. They moved West to another prison because they said it was a massive security threat.”

Dennehy, 35, and West st are the only two women in British h jails serving whole life sentences ces since the death of Myra ra Hindley in 2002.

West, who got life in 1995 for her part in ten murders including that of her daughter, spent more than a decade on a cushy wing at HMP Low ow Newton in Co Durham, am, making cakes and knitting. ng.

But insiders say Dennehy had threatened to “do West in” after being transferred from HMP Bronzefield in EVIL Rose West killed at least ten girls with husband Fred and buried them in their House of Horrors at 25 Cromwell Street, Gloucester.

Police uncovered a number of mutilated female bodies in the garden and cellar.

The house was later demolished to stop ghouls visiting.

Fred hanged himself in jail on New Year’s Day 1995 while awaiting trial for 12 murders.

He had claimed to have killed up to 30 women.

Surrey. West left Low Newton on June 13 and was transferred to New Hall jail in Wakefield, West Yorks.

Dennehy is believed to have arrived at Low N Newton on the same day.

Th The double transfer was cas carried secu e rity out because amid prison high bosses did not want them in the same jail.

A source said: “Dennehy can’t stand Rose and has threatened to kill her before.

“When Dennehy was told she w was being moved the first thing hi she h said id was, ‘I’ll kill that bitch.’

“The authorities didn’t want them in the same jail – so West was transferred out.”

Last month the Sunday People told how jail bosses had ordered prisoners to be nice to West in her new jail in Yorkshire.

A source said: “They’ve been told that physical and verbal threats will not be tolerated and could result in a loss of privileges. They want West to settle as well as she can and they don’t want her getting upset and self-harming.

“Despite what she has done it is a traumatic experience when prisoners change jails and the bosses want West’s transition to go as smoothly as possible.”

West’s move comes amid her failing health in recent years.

She has complained of struggling to walk up stairs to her upper landing cell on F Wing as her knees hurt and her eyesight is said to be failing.

Dennehy, from Peterborough, Cambs, specifically targeted men during her killing spree.

She pleaded guilty to a series of murders that took place in March 2013.

She also stabbed two other men who were left fighting for life.

Batter

In an interview earlier this year with the Sunday People, Dennehy’s daughter Shianne Treanor, 19, revealed how she found out her mother was a monster by googling her name.

She said: “I was told nothing about my mum and I wanted answers.” When she got some, her feeling was: “She deserves to spend the rest of her life in prison.

“I’m sorry to the victims. I can’t imagine what they went through.”

West previously served her sentence at HMP Bronzefield but was moved to Low Newton in 2008 after a plot to batter her with pool balls in a sock was discovered.

She is said to have became pals with another notorious female inmate Tracey Connelly, now 38, who allowed her toddler son know as Baby P to be killed by her boyfriend and his brother.
