In our article of June 23, 2019 concerning expats’ concerns over living in luxury flats that have been taken over by a gang, we quoted Moira Wakeman as saying that her retirement in Denia has ‘been wrecked by the family from hell’. She has asked us to point out that she did not use these words, her experience living in Denia is wonderful, and she only agreed to be interviewed solely to show support for her friends, whose lives have been very badly affected.

Furthermore, her choice to leave London in search of a better lifestyle for her family has been totally fulfilled. We are happy to make this clear and apologise for the misrepresentation of her position.
