STAR HEARTBROKE­N’ AT DEATH

TV host Gail Porter says she is still grieving over the death of her old love, Progidy star Keith Flint.

She said of the Firestarte­r rocker, who she dated for a year in 1999: “I’m still so fond of him.”

Keith killed himself in March after battling depression following a painful split from his wife Mayumi Kai.

Gail, 48, who shot to fame on TV shows Live & Kicking and The Big Breakfast, said: “This has not been the easiest year. It’s been tricky. But you get on with it and remember the good times.”

Gail, who has the hair loss condition alopecia, told fans she was “heartbroke­n” but did not go to Keith’s funeral.

She said: “I knew it’d be a big party. I thought I’d stay away and show my respects ts in my own way. He was such ch a lovely and gentle man.” .”

She works with ith Mind and the Samaritans ans and is filming a BBC m e n t a l health th documentar­y. Gail is also an ambassador for rehabilita­tion centre The Cabin near Chiang Mai in Thailand.

It treats women suffering intimacy disorders and addiction using therapies including yoga, Muay Thai and art therapy.

Gail’s second book is due out next year, exploring drug ad addiction, the loss of her mum to cancer and her time in rehab.

Talking about her anxiety battle, she adds: “It comes and goes. Sometimes it will just hit m me when I’m on the Tube and I’ll have to get off. But I’ve learnt to deal with it.”
