THIS 1.1-mile walk from the gatehouse at Charlecote Park, Warks, starts by going towards the main house and turning right through a blue gate. 1 Walk between cedar lawn and croquet lawn towards a thatched summerhouse then on a path ahead to left of summerhouse along length of Long Border. Through metal gate on left, down into parkland. Take gentle slope towards River Avon. 2 Turn from house, follow mown path towards waterfall at head of the lake. From here, bear left to follow Hill Park walk, eventually rejoining path you were on, half-way along lake.
3 Carry on along lakeside and bear right as you reach boundary fence, continuing to follow mown path towards St Leonard’s church.
