START your three-mile walk at the bus stop at St Nicholas Church in Blakeney, Norfolk.

1 Head into Blakeney village and turn right down High Street towards Blakeney quay. 2 Cross the quay’s main car park and walk on to the bank on the right. From there you can see Blakeney Freshes on your right. Take the path on top of the bank out towards the harbour. 3 Follow the same path round to the right. Stay on the coast path, passing Stiffkey Freshes Creek on your right and Stiffkey Freshes on your left.

4 Keep to the path on the bank until you reach the A149 between Blakeney and Cley. Cross the road, turn right, walk up the hill and cross the road again. Stay on the pavement until you are back at the bus stop near the church. For more details see Nationaltr­ust.org.uk.
