Heroes savage All Blacks to book place in f inal ENGLAND TRYUMPH

- From Andy Lines in Yokohama, Japan

ENGLAND fans roared with delight yesterday as their heroes tore through New Zealand to reach the Rugby World Cup final.

Around 200,000 were cheering them on in the stadium and millions were watching on TV as they gave the All Blacks a 19-7 mauling in the semi-final.

And when they realised tournament glory was now within grasp, they tweaked the iconic Three Lions footie anthem to sing: “It’s coming home, it’s coming home, it’s coming... rugby’s coming home.”

The Kiwis had hoped for an unprecedented third successive title – but could find no answer to head coach Eddie Jones’s squad in Yokohama, Japan.

Immense

Johnny Wilkinson, who guided England to their last World Cup win in 2003, against hosts Australia, said: “Individually and as a team... immense! On to next week’s final!”

England face either Wales or South Africa on Saturday – and if Wales get through, it will be the Cup’s first all-uk final.

Fans celebrated into the night in Yokohama, belting out Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and hailing man of the match Maro Itoje.

Les Hall, from Barrow- inFurness, Cumbria, was stunned as he watched at the Nissan Stadium. The 62-year-old said: “I’m blown away. What a team.”

Paul Tucker, 61, from Bristol said: “I’ve spent a fortune to come and it has been worth every penny. The Japanese have been so welcoming, it’ll be great to stay another week. Now

I just need a ticket.”

Alan Coward, of Manchester, said: “I’ve never heard Swing Low sung so loudly. Come on
