FORMER Southampton favourite Dusan Tadic has been hailed as the best striker to play for Ajax since Dutch legend Marco van Basten.
The Saints allowed the Serbia star, 30, to move to Holland for just £10million in the summer of 2018 after four years at St Mary’s.
Last season, he scored 34 goals as Ajax clinched a league and cup double and reached the Champions League semi-finals.
He has already found the target nine times this term – and former Holland str striker Wim
Kieft recko reckons Tadic has been supe superior to players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Patric Patrick Kluivert.
Ahead o of Ajax’s Champions League trip to Chelsea this week, Kieft said: “If you make a list of all th the strikers at Ajax since Marco van Basten pla played for the club, then Tadic is by far the best of all.
“Patrick Kluivert was great but did d not have the fine sk skills of Tadic. Zlatan Ibrahimovic Ibra the same.
“He makes mak the team tick. He gives giv Ajax the flowing, at attacking football.”

“He is brilliant br on the ball, he is a quick thinker and he has so many decisive passes pa around the box.
