Gangsters’ sick video taunting family of murder lad

- By Dan Warburton

THUGS have posted a sick Youtube video taunting a murdered teen’s family.

Kelvin Odunyi, 19, was shot in the head outside a cinema in Wood Green, North London, in March 2018.

His murder by a moped gunman is thought to be a revenge killing after a 22-year-old was knifed to death weeks before.

Last week Kelvin’s family found a drill rap video boasting about his killing which has been watched online 25,000 times.

In it, rappers Tugga and Trillz, who are linked to local gangs, chant: “Park Lane bopping, the opps dem dropping, come here, I got you a coffin. 12 gauge long like Kelvin’s coffin.”

Last night Kelvin’s brother Kai, 24, said: “This has been so upsetting. How is it possible that they can talk about my brother’s death and get away with it?

“No-one has ever been convicted of his murder. We want someone to be accountable.”

The video emerged days after police identified 700 online videos that could fuel violence.

Youtube, owned by Google, has been accused of having “blood on its hands” by profiting from ads on the videos. Some cash goes to video creators, meaning gangs can profit too.

Kelvin was a boarder at £26,000-a-year Fulneck School, Leeds, but moved to Heartlands School i n Wood Green. His brother, a business ss management student, dent, added: “Kelvin lvin shouldn’t t have been en hanging around in Wood Green but he g got in with the wrong g crowd.”

The Metr Metropolitan Police ha has asked Youtub Youtube to take down 107 clips and 83 more hav have been re removed in th the past six months. Youtube said it worked with police to tackle knife and gang-related videos.

“We have a dedicated process for the police and the Prison Service to flag videos directly to our teams,” said a spokesman. “We do not want our platform used to incite violence.”
