Miffed missus annoyed by slimmed down Chris

- By Sarah Robertson

STRICTLY’S Chris Ramsey has fallen out of step with his missus for losing so much weight.

The hard work by his pro partner Karen Hauer, 37, has transformed the comedian’s body and taken him to an unlikely spot in the final four.

But the day and night training, resistance band work for posture and skipping has not impressed his wife.

Chris, 33, said actress and presenter Rosie Winter is annoyed by how easily he loses weight.

He joked: “It’s no secret she’s a little bit angry I’ve lost so much weight while doing work. It’s not like I’ve had to go into a gym, she’s like “for f***’s sake!

“I’ve got a fast metabolism I can eat what I want and not be huge, so she’s very used to being annoyed at how I look which gives me endless joy.”

But she may not be miffed too much longer as last week Chris and Karen, only narrowly beat Alex Scott and Neil Jones in the dance off.

And once Strictly’s over Chris plans to feast on “all of the meats, all of the cheeses, all of the carbs, all the beers”.

Until then the star from South Shields, Tyne and Wear, can make the most of his slimmed down figure.

He said: “I put a dress jacket on today that I wear if I am doing a posh gig like an awards show or corporate do and I could button it. I’ve never been able to button it in my life. “Around my face as well, my posture is better and I’m looking forward to undoing all that good work over the Christmas.”

Modest Chris said he would be astounded if he reached the final and would pass out on live TV if he won. “I am so thrilled to have got here. I’ll be cock a hoop to get to the final but I’ll not be sad if I go. I will just be concentrating on how great it’s been.”

Chris has the North East behind him, including Geordie singer Cheryl Tweedy, who he met backstage. He said: “She stopped us and went ‘you’re doing really well I’m rooting for you’, I said, ‘thank you very much’, it was lovely. I couldn’t believe she knew who I was. I was buzzing.”
