CAROLINE Flack’s boyfriend is to go to court to SUPPORT her when she appears accused of beating him up.

Lewis Burton, 27, will be by the former Love Island presenter’s side at tomorrow’s hearing.

Caroline, 40, was charged with assault following a bust-up at the flat she shares with Lewis. The 5ft 3in star is accused of lashing out at the 6ft 4in ex-tennis player 10 days ago.

But sources say the couple have vowed to stay together and work through the difficult period.

Lewis will join Caroline at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court in North London, close to the scene of the alleged fracas in Islington. A source said: “Lewis is the one who called police but it doesn’t matter, they still want to stay together.

“They both love each other very much and they’re desperate to make it work.

“They’re still boyfriend and girlfriend.”

After the incident Caroline stepped down from her £3.6million Love Island job.

She was due to fly out to South Africa to start filming the winter series on January 1.
