Cummings rakes in three times average pay
The tragedy has made David, who starred in the hit series Homeland, even more determined to help Unicef supply vaccines to people who have had no access to them.
According to the charity, the jabs which guard against illnesses such as malaria, TB, pneumonia, hepatitis and polio are safe and inexpensive – yet 1.5 million children die each year from these preventable diseases.

BORIS Johnson’s chief aide Dominic Cummings is paid more than three times the average salary, a report reveals.
Cummings, 48, earns between £95,000 and £99,999, compared to the £29,500 paid to the typical British worker.
And the PM’S new “people’s government” employs a total of 108 special advisers costing taxpayers £9.6million a year.
That is nine more than
Johnson’s predecessor Theresa May hired. A total of 44 work within the Conservative leader’s personal advisory team, compared to the 37 Mrs May used.
Special advisers, known in Westminster as spads, differ from civil servants because they offer politically motivated advice.
The salary of Mr Cummings, the brains behind the Vote Leave campaign who was brought into Number 10 when Mr Johnson became PM in July, was revealed in an annual report on special advisers from the Cabinet Office.
His abrasive style has caused clashes with Tory MPS and raised questions about how much power he wields in Number 10.
Other salaries declared in the report include Downing Street communications director Lee Cain, chief strategic adviser Sir Ed Lister and director of legislative affairs Nikki da Costa. All three earn £140,000 to £145,000 – not far off the PM’S £150,000-ayear salary.
Ms da Costa, who is currently on maternity leave, is said to have advised Mr Johnson over his decision to prorogue Parliament this year, a move the Supreme Court later deemed unlawful.
The £9.6million bill for the 108 advisers includes national insurance and pension costs, and is £700,000 more than the 2018 bill.
