Hot Ings is two-goal destroyer

-

DANNY INGS was branded “outrageous” after the SOUTHAMPTON striker continued his red-hot form to down ASTON VILLA.

Two-goal Ings took his tally to 11 the season as he helped leapfrog fellow strugglers Villa.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl said: “He’s fantastic at the moment. Actually he’s absolutely outrageous at the moment and I’m very happy for him.”

SHEFFIELD UNITED’S dream start to life back in the Premier League continued after Oli Mcburnie’s winner sunk BRIGHTON.

Despite seeing two goals ruled out by VAR, the Blades still won to move up to the dizzy heights of fifth.

Blades hero Mcburnie said: “We know they are a good team and it was going to be a hard task but the gaffer put a game plan out and we came away with three points.

“I have not really been in the starting line-up so I have to put myself in the gaffer’s thoughts.

“We have been really good away from home so the boys want to keep that going.”

Daniel Farke didn’t know whether to laugh or cry after his NORWICH side threw away the lead to lose 2-1 at home to WOLVES.

Raul Jimenez grabbed the late winner after Todd Cantwell’s early opener.

And the Canaries boss said: “It feels like the most unfair sport in the world but you have to accept it. You just have to pick yourself up and go again.”

Jay Rodriguez’s later winner for BURNLEY settled a dour contest with BOURNEMOUTH.

And Miguel Almiron ended his long drought to help NEWCASTLE jump into the top half.

The Paraguayan forward scored the only goal against CRYSTAL PALACE and he said: “I’m so happy to help the team.”

New managers Carlo Ancelotti and Mikel Arteta watched from the stands as their new sides EVERTON and ARSENAL play out a stalemate.
