Meghan to Netflix & spill? Report claims duchess to star in 2nd wedding show

- By Patrick Hill

MEGHAN Markle is reportedly set to star in a reality TV show about second weddings.

It is claimed the twicemarried duchess is about to make several appearances on “I Do, Redo” with her best friend Jessica Mulroney, who is the main star of the Netflix show.

But sources inside Buckingham Palace last night denied the reports.

The show would mark Meghan’s return to TV after she and Harry quit as full-time royals last month to become “financially independent”.

There has been fevered speculation they could cash in on their connections with a string of multi-million pound deals. Meghan’s guest spots on I Do, Redo would be

“sporadic”, according to a source who spoke to the New York Post – and declined to say if she will be paid.

The ten-part series “revisits first-time wedding disasters before remaking the wedding dreams of 10 devoted couples”, according to a press release.

Meghan, 38, divorced US movie producer Trevor Engelson in 2013. She married Harry at Windsor Castle in 2018.

She shot to fame in US legal drama Suits, reportedly being paid more than £38,000 an episode to star as ambitious paralegal Rachel Zane.

Blessed

The show was filmed in Toronto, where she met fashion stylist Jessica, who is married to the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

Jessica, who was maid of honour at Meghan’s Windsor wedding, has posted out-takes on Instagram showing her and a film crew in Florida, Connecticut and the Caribbean.

She said of I Do, Redo: “I am so blessed that I can show the world a side

of myself that truly inspires me. “It is a side of the wedding industry that has never been shown on television.”

Meghan has also signed a deal with Disney to do voice-over work on an unspecified project in exchange for a donation to a charity which works to save elephants.

She was brought up in Los Angeles, where her dad Thomas, now 73, worked as an awardwinning TV lighting director on a string of shows, including Married...with Children.

Meghan was a regular on set as a child and appeared on daytime soap General Hospital, Century City, The War at Home, CSI: NY, Fringe and other TV shows before getting her big break in Suits.

She appeared in several films including Get Him to the Greek, Remember Me and Horrible Bosses. She was also a “briefcase girl” on the American version of Deal or No Deal.

She married Trevor in a beach ceremony in Jamaica in September 2011. They agreed a no-fault divorce in August 2013, citing irreconcilable differences.

She said she would be retiring from acting after she and Prince Harry became engaged in November 2017.
