Brook: I’ll give top dogs Kell
KELL BROOK has put every welterweight and lightmiddleweight world champion on notice that he is coming for their crown.
The former IBF welterweight title holder is adamant he is in such good shape that he will breeze past Mark Deluca in Sheffield on Saturday.
Then he wants any of the welterweight top dogs – Manny Pacquiao, Errol Spence and Terence Crawford – or lightmiddleweight star Jermell Charlo.
Brook, 33, said: “It’s the last chapter of my career and I am going to give it my absolute all.
“And I am telling you now, no one will be able to live with me – no one.
“I’ve got plenty of energy, my mojo is back and I’m beating these 20-year-olds in the gym.
“People don’t know I’ve never lived the proper life, but people will now see what I’m going to give.
“Everyone is on notice – everyone. And I mean no disrespect to Deluca, but I’m going to run straight through him because 2020 is my year – I’m going to become a two-weight world champion.
“Whoever has a belt, I’m going after. Whoever gives me that adrenaline rush, who’s the puncher, the banger, the man, that’s who I’m hunting for.
“Because whoever I’ve seen on the TV, I can destroy them.
“I’m after Manny Pacquiao and I’d love Errol Spence. I’ve never got over that defeat and I know I can beat him.
“I wasn’t even 40 per cent for that fight and when I come in 100 per cent I will beat him easy.
“And the ‘Bud’ Crawford fight, I want that because he’s pound-for-pound up there. I want Charlo, I want those with the titles.
“Before I’d have always thought about where I was going on holiday after a fight, but now I just want to get back into camp and see who’s next.
“The 15-month break has done me good and, spiritually, I’m on a different planet.”
