Jade is happy to be a Little Mix single... for now

- By Kelly Jenkins

SHE may be missing her bandmates, girly chats and touring – but one thing Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall has NOT missed during the lockdown is blokes.

Jade, who’s been single for a year, admits she “can’t be bothered” with chat-up lines and has given up looking for love online.

Geordie Jade, 27, who lives with two single pals, says they only check out dating apps to have a giggle.

She said: “We have been on the apps where you swipe along at people, and are having a laugh looking at everyone, no offence.

“But the banter’s not quite there. Not the best at the minute, dating-wise for me. I can’t be bothered.

“I’d rather sit and do nothing than have to sit and chinwag with a stranger.

“The three of us keep saying how we should be doing more, but can’t be bothered to strike up a convo with anyone.”

Jade split from The Struts bassist Jed Elliott, 28, last July after three years, with both blaming their busy touring schedules for the break-up.

And Jade might throw another bloke into the mix – but only when she can get to know them face-to-face.

With her tour on hold, she’s happily cooped up with old friend Holly Robinson and fashion stylist Zack Tate in her three-bed flat in London’s Canary Wharf.

The apartment had a starring role in the video for Little Mix’s new single Break Up Song, after the band were forced to film it at home.

It sees Jade dancing in front of a glittery purple wall, with her bandmates Leighanne Pinnock, 28, Jesy Nelson, 28, and Perrie Edwards, 26, doing the same from their respective homes.

It may look seamless, but Jade admits she struggled with the tech – and the dancing caused tension.

“Leigh and Perrie say they take longer to learn stuff. I’m a bit annoying in that I’ll watch everyone do the routine and be like, ‘Right, it’s in, go’. I’ve got a good memory. I think it’s because I’m a proper nerd, since I was little.

“Jesy’s the one that gets frustrated if she can’t get a certain dance. She’s like, ‘I’m not doing it!’”

The band was supposed to kick off their summer arena tour next month, culminating in a headline slot at the British Summer Time festival in London’s Hyde Park in July.

Jade told how cancelling was “heartbreaking” and added: “We were gutted. One of our favourite things to do is tour.

“It would have been our
