Marbella plunge Brit lands on Spaniard
TWO men have died after one dropped from a seventh floor hotel balcony on to the other below.
A British tourist landed on a man, believed to be a local Spaniard, enjoying a late-night drink on the terrace.
The two men died instantly after the tourist dropped seven floors.
Police are trying to establish whether the holidaymaker jumped or fell from the balcony of the Costa del Sol hotel.

Investigating
A spokesman for the police in nearby Malaga, said: “I can confirm two men have died at a hotel in Marbella after one plunged from the seventh floor and landed on top of another. We are investigating.”
A well-placed sourced confirmed: “The man who jumped or fell is a British man aged around 50. The man who was enjoying a drink on the hotel terrace below him is a 43-year-old Spaniard.”
The luxury Gran Melia Don Pepe is a beachfront hotel where rooms cost upwards of £250 a night.
It was one of the first hotels to reopen on the Costa del Sol earlier this month, having closed in March due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Hotel staff said they would not be commenting following the tragedy.
