Kop three can be a fab four with Brewster
RHIAN BREWSTER doesn’t have to prove he can score goals.
He was the No.1 reason why Swansea City pushed themselves into the promotion mix last season.
He can already cut it in the Championship, so Liverpool should resist the temptation to slash a few quid off their wage bill and leave Jurgen Klopp to keep him under his watchful eye at Anfield.
For two reasons. The first is that players naturally improve when they are pitted with and against top quality in training.
And secondly, one area where a few of the Reds’ title rivals have greater strength in depth is in the variety of their striking options.
Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah dovetail beautifully – but the workload on them is set to sky-rocket during the coming months.
Klopp needs to be in a position where he can freshen it up.

(right) will be better off learning and waiting for his chance at
Anfield than transferring his talents somewhere else.
Hopefully for him that terrific trio will soon become the fab four.
WHY do players have such a fascination with social media?
It’s a vicious pool where there’s no grey areas – they’re either written off as pants or lauded to the skies.
So it was refreshing to see one of the modern-day greats show how he deals with it – step forward, Real
Madrid ace, Luka
Modric.
“People judge people without knowing them,” he said, “even more today with social media which is why I stopped reading it a long time ago.
“I have my circle and I surround myself with positivity.”
In other words, “I take no notice...”
