Katie let-off is a stinker
KATIE Price avoided jail for crashing her car while drink-driving, disqualified and uninsured.
Everyone, including the glamour model herself, seemed surprised she won’t be spending the festive season behind bars.
No one more so than the head of roads policing for Sussex and Surrey who is looking at appealing against the sentence.
Call me a Grinch for wishing her the worst, but I hope the police win because that’s what she deserves.
It makes me mad when celebs who commit these offences appear to get special treatment because of who they are. It seems you get leniency for doing swanky rehab courses.
Price was regularly seen out shopping whilst doing her ‘pre penance’ but your average Joe would have been behind bars
The defence played the sympathy card. Her solicitor Joe Harrington painted a picture of a “lonely” mum of five who “had a lot of problems” and was in the bankruptcy court. Boo hoo. I know people on council estates who would love to have had the opportunities Katie has had and has wasted. And I’m sick of the amount
of sympathy she’s given simply because she’s known as a good mum to her son Harvey who has special needs.
Yes, it’s clear her devotion to him is admirable but it shouldn’t be a get out of jail card. Now it seems she’s pulling the ‘mental health’ card to manipulate the system further to try and be seen in a more lenient light.
I’ve known and looked after some of the very highest profile celebrities in my day job as an agent and some also have mental health issues.
I can tell you that none of them would behave like this so I don’t believe that’s behind her behaviour at all.
She is selfish and deluded. You only have to look at her financial mess and constant need for attention with all her marriages to recognise a damaged woman, who has long since run out of excuses.
On a footnote, I have met her and when I was introduced to her at an awards do in London, she farted and burped in front of me then laughed, thinking it was funny.
Once she’s completed all her rehabs I suggest she also works on her personal behaviour because she doesn’t deserve any special treatment.
She’s not special at all. Just a Z-lister who deserves everything she gets.
Especially a prison sentence for breaking the law.
