TROUBLE ’N’ STRIFE IS JUST THE LIFE

moment in and his wife Rosie are having their the sun.

The pair have toured and written books off the back of their No 1 hit podcast “Sh*gged. Married. Annoyed.” And now they have their own TV show,

The Chris & Rosie Ramsey

on-set up-for-a-laugh studio audience, an

keep cocktail bar and celebrity guests help the craic moving along, although it needs time to get into its stride.

The segment What’s Your Beef? with couples airing

relationship grievances – a bit like a souped-up Mr & Mrs – has great TV potential.

EVEN if you haven’t read The Time Traveler’s Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger, you probably know the story anyway because everyone keeps banging on about it.

Sky Atlantic’s adaptation on Monday is a gorgeous, glossy and witty retelling of the novel about Henry, whose genetic disorder makes him jump through time.

And not in an orderly Doctor Who style with whizzy buttons and a spaceship, but spontaneously, without

warning – naked and to god knows

where and when. “When he’s gone, I wait and I worry. I wonder where he is, when he is, if he’s in danger,” says his wife Clare.

Theo James and Rose Leslie have excellent chemistry as the married couple Henry and Clare.

The pacy, mind-boggling (aka slightly ridiculous) plot is told in many time zones and eras with humour and more than a touch of magic.

It’s all quite schmaltzy, but this is a love story that’s become a classic.
