Speedy Yolo is a juvenile going places

-

LAST week I tipped up four from four on the Sunday racing but this time I have to ditch that in favour of the brilliant Ladbrokes Puppy Derby at Monmore which starts tomorrow, worth £ 12,500 to- the- winner and the Racing Post Juvenile on Tuesday at Wimbledon with an amazing supporting card.

Who is the fastest greyhound in England? For me I’d say it was Newinn Yolo who had an amazing 2014 but I’ve a feeling 2015 could be even better starting with victory in the Racing Post Juvenile on Tuesday night at Wimbledon.

The Irish star Lenson Sanchez is the likely favourite and a brilliant greyhound but I’m siding with England’s champion.

On the supporting card, I’m a huge fan of Bubbly Time, remember she was my 40/ 1 EW tip for the Jacket and did us proud coming second.

On Tuesday she is running over her favourite distance — a true marathon trip — and should take the world of beating.

ANTE- POST BETS ROMEO SET TO HIT THE BIG TIME

This is without doubt the number one Puppy competition not only in the UK but in my view on the planet.

So many great champions have won this, who can forget in 2009 Bandicoot Tipoki winning it with runner- up Kinda Ready.

Two months later Kinda Ready won the Derby and a year later so did Tipoki.

Whoever wins this competition is going to be a serious Derby contender and I’m looking no further than Romeo Big Time for Dave Firmager.

This British- bred puppy really Impressed me in winning the Sussex Puppy Cup at Hove and looks to have a big chance in this competition.

If you want a live outsider look no further than Clonkeen Stanley for Pat Rosney he made an impressive UK debut and comes with the ticket ‘ could be anything’.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Romeo Big Time to win and Clonkeen Stanley each- way.
