But instead of succumbing to the Maths teacher’s advances, the teenager, who can’t be named for legal reasons, posted the photos on Facebook.

The racy images were then spotted by authorities and the cheerleading squad coach was arrested at her home in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

A police source said: “Miss Christ may be gorgeous but you can’t have sex with 15- year- olds. It’s the law.”

Christ had worked at South Plainfield High School for two years – teaching algebra to juniors and maths to seniors before her arrest.

She also coached the school’s cheerleading squad, leading them to victory in this year’s New Jersey Cheerleading Championships.

She is also said to have been in a relationship with Mike Downes at the time of her arrest.

Christ is being held without bail at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Centre in North Brunswick.
