Thousands speculated the former Secretary of State had in fact contracted HIV – the virus which causes AIDS – from her philanderer husband Bill. Washington blog The Political Insider speculated earlier this year Bill had developed the deadly disease. The blog reported: “Over the years, both Clintons have kept their medical records a secret. Bill explained his rapidly changing appearance to his heart surgery and “new diet”. Last night a Clinton camp source said: “These rumours are absolutely without foundation.”
