MY PAUL WANTS TO MARRY ME!

MEET Gary Mallard – a man who’s devoted his LIFE to TV baker Paul Hollywood.

Gary claims to be Paul’s No. 1 fan, which, judging by the pic above, is hard to dispute.

Perhaps more questionable is the 53- year- old’s assertion that he’s having a gay affair with The Great British Bake Off judge and that the pair are set to MARRY!

Gary, from Bishop Auckland, Co Durham, told Sunday Sport: “I first met Paul in 2008 on a bus in Darlington. He was in the seat in front of me, eating some artisan bread.

“I tapped him on the shoulder and asked to try some. It was the nicest bread I’ve ever tasted.

“He said he’d baked it himself and I knew then that Paul was the man for me.”

Gary added: “We got chatting and he said he was off shopping at the Metro Centre, which I thought was odd because he got off the bus at the next stop, before we’d even left Darlo.

“Looking back, he was obviously very nervous. There was a real spark between us and I think he was just overwhelmed by it all.”

Jobless Gary continued: “I speak to Paul every night before bed but we haven’t actually met since that time on the bus.

“We’d both love it if I could go to see him filming Bake Off so we can display our affection publicly.

“Unfortunately, I’m not allowed within 500 yards of a village fete – or any other public event.

“It’s because of that thing that happened before I got all better.

“When I was in Broadmoor they let me have chalks so I could draw pics of Paul on my walls.

“Paul wanted to come and see me but we weren’t allowed conjugal visits, so we didn’t see the point. We had to make do with sending each other really sexually explicit letters.

“But now I’m out and have my own place we’re going to make a proper go of things. We plan to be married before the new series of Bake Off starts on Channel 4.

“In case you were wondering, I’m the wife in the relationship so I’ll be shopping for a nice white frock and that.
