FIT STAR OF ITV DRAMA THE LEVEL

BACKLASH: Fans north of the border were enraged by comic’s words COP A LOAD OF THESE! Laura strips in movie THE Level is a tense police drama set in Brighton, and has a dark, dangerous undertone.

It centres on Det Sgt Nancy Devlin who grew up on the East Sussex coast – and has been running away from it ever since.

But something is pulling her back and she’s powerless to stop it.

Nancy, played by Karla Crome, ends up investigat­ing her own shooting when she helps out her ex Frank, played by Philip Glenister.

Laura Haddock plays Frank’s daughter Hayley Svrcek – and while she keeps her top on in The Level, she was less shy in 2013’ s Da Vinci’s Demons – as these snaps show.

An ITV insider said: “The Level successful autumn. “That’s why they put a fit bird in it. “We learned our lesson from Spender.” MONTY Python legend John Cleese is a c** t, it has been claimed.

The former comedy actor, who is known for voicing his controvers­ial opinions on Twitter, faced a backlash after ranting about “tenement Scots”.

In reaction to a piece written by Fraser Nelson in the Daily Telegraph about Sam Allardyce’s sting, Cleese wrote: “Why do we let carries ITV’s hopes for a half- educated tenement Scots run our English press? Because their craving for social status makes them obedient retainers?”

And the 76- year- old Fawlty Towers creator sparked an immediate backlash from north of the border.

Limmy raged: “I’m Scottish come to Glasgow and try sayin’ that to my ARRESTING SIGHT: Laura ( left) and Nancy ( Karla Crome) f** kin’ face ya dirty English c** t.”

And Bonnie Prince commented: “John Cleese is a senile old clueless c** t,” while Keef agreed with, “Turns out John Cleese is a bigoted c** t.”

Roo said: “So John Cleese is a massive c** t, who knew?”

Saul Anderson wrote: “Funny how John Cleese went from being a national treasure to an old bigoted c** t in the space of a couple tweets.”
