Warning over eggs made from LAXATIVE chocolate

IT is going to be a shitty Easter for thousands of folk who have unwittingly bought eggs made of LAXATIVE chocolate!

As usual, there was a last- minute rush for the seasonal treats – despite eggs being on sale in some supermarkets since Christmas.

And eggs were changing hands for up to TEN TIMES their list price yesterday as desperate mums and dads clamoured to satisfy the gluttony of their obese, grasping offspring.

Attracted by the rich pickings, eastern European gangs have rushed to fill demand – and fill their dirty pockets with gold.

And it’s believed that one Albanian gang got hold of a massive job lot of bowel- loosening laxative chocolate which they have cunningly fashioned into eggs.

A trading standards source told Sunday Sport: “We have heard on the grapevine that at least a ton of out- of- date laxative chocolate was up for sale and it had been snapped up by this Albanian gang.

“They have fashioned the stuff into rough egg shapes and are now knocking them out to lots of little corner shops and market traders.

“This is a bit like the knock- off fags that immigrant gangs sell to newsagents but with none of the risks to the criminals.

“But there’s a real risk to the public.

“Eating any laxative chocolate when you are not constipated is very dangerous.

“Many people have literally shat themselves inside out.”

Trading standards have advised buyers to examine Easter egg packaging carefully and not purchase anything that looks suspicious or smells of cabbage.

Experts have also advised against last minute purchases from anyone who “looks a bit foreign”.
