Maigret is convinced his suspect’s sister may know something, but soon discovers that everyone in the small rural town where they live is hiding something.
Guest starring Tom Wlaschiha ( Game of Thrones) and Kevin McNally ( the Pirates of the Caribbean movies).
Atkinson makes a good fist of the role of the Sûreté detective made famous by Rupert Davies in the Sixties.

In this first episode, obsessive cleaners Tina and Mark fly to Texas to do battle with 70- year- old Patrick’s home, spending five days attempting to transform the house deep in the Texan countryside.
The ranch was once a beautiful family home until Patrick’s wife passed away three years ago, since when it has collected clutter, cobwebs and dog poo, and has fallen into a state of disrepair.
Lovely! FIRST dates are awful enough, but imagine having it filmed for Channel Four!
Dapper 24- year- old Will is looking for a woman to share his love of the countryside, but he has never had a girlfriend and is not a natural when it comes to chatting up a lady, while lofty long- haired rocker Daniel, aka Squid, strides into a restaurant on a mission to break the rules.
Mum- of- two Emma, 47, is all glammed up and ready to play the love lottery, but Cupid throws a huge surprise her way, and when the man who broke her heart walks through the door the drama begins. Uncomfortable viewing! I KNOW I recommend this every week but it’s really REALLY good stuff.
Tonight is the season climax so we see how we’ll find out how we’re to be kept hanging until the start of the new season.
