JET SETTERS: Jade Jagger and Paris Hilton are familiar faces in Ibiza AS a rule, being ordered to Ibiza for a week in the sun would have made me jump for joy.

But I’m not long back from a week in Majorca, cataloguing the sexy antics in the jumping resort of Magaluf, so I wasn’t sure my liver could take a jaunt to the foam parties and bar crawls of San Antonio.

“You’re not going to San Antonio,” the editor said. “You’re going upmarket. Mixing with the beautiful people.” My ears pricked up. Ibiza is the go- to place for the rich and famous. Celebs such as Jade Jagger and Paris Hilton often fly there – though they normally arrive on private jets, rather than easyjet cattle class.

Orgies

The jet- set get to stay in multi- million- pound villas in the pine- scented hills of Ibiza, where every whim catered for.

“I want you to see what goes on in these villas after hours,” the editor said. “We’ve heard tales of all- day, drug- fuelled orgies. Go and have a look.”

Well, what’s a girl to do? I packed my best designer clobber and headed for the airport.

On arrival, knowing it was going to be a late night, I got my head down when I got to the hotel and caught up on my sleep.

It was almost nine in the evening when I got up. That’s an early start for Ibiza partygoers and hours before the clubs have even warmed up.

Sunday Sport’s showbiz department had wangled me a VIP pass to one of Ibiza’s top clubs. I can’t name it for legal reasons – and you’ll soon see why.

I arrived at the club soon after midnight. The DJ – a household name – was doing his stuff and hundreds of clubbers were going wild on the dancefloor.

I waved my pass and got into the VIP area. It was hard not to stare, as there were so many big names from the world of showbiz.

There were Brit soap stars, Hollywood actors and actresses, a good sprinkling of models and a couple of people who I was told were European royalty.

Away from prying eyes, the behaviour of these people made the pilled- up clubbers on the main dance floor look like a Sunday school outing.

One of the models started sucking off a well- known actor from an American drama.

A member of a girl band was sat on a chair with her legs wide open, being licked out by a bloke who looked like a bouncer.
