TELLY nonce Rolf Harris is set to earn a fortune from a MUSICAL based on his life and fall from grace. The veteran entertainer – recently freed from jail for kid- touching offences – will rake in royalties from hits like Two Little Boys and Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport, which will feature heavily in the production. A source close to the production – who asked not to be named for fear of reprisals – told Sunday Sport: “A few years back we had Jimmy Savile: The Musical and that was a moderate success. “The thing about Rolf is that, as a musician himself, his story is very musical. So it’s crying out for a show really. “OK, it won’t be to everyone’s taste, MONEY FOR OLD GROPE: Rolf Harris what with the noncery and all that, but art is about challenging norms.

“Naturally, if his songs were used in the production, royalties would have to be paid.”

It’s not the only payday heading the shamed 87- year- old’s way.

Last week it was reported that Harris has been telling pals of an approach by an Australian company for a programme that could go worldwide.

Technique

Harris is also set to rake in the cash amid rumours his art technique books will be reprinted.

He was released from HMP Stafford in May after serving almost three years for 12 indecent assaults on four girls, aged as young as eight.

He had faced further indecent assault charges but walked free after jurors failed to reach a verdict.

Since his release, much of Harris’s time has been taken up with caring for his ailing wife Alwen, 85.
