ANTI SUN BATHING ORDER 30-stone Gemma banned from tanning in her garden

A NUDIST erupted in naked fury when she was slapped with an ASBO banning her from sunbathing starkers in her OWN GARDEN!

Sturdy Gemma Helmsley, who tips the scales at 30 stones, was given the order after neighbours complained at her baring all when the sun’s shining.

But Gemma, 35, a self- proclaimed “fat activist” is refusing to take the sunbathing ban lying down.

The flame- haired fattie raged: “Brexit or no Brexit, I’ll take this all the way to the European Court of Human Rights.

“I have a right to a private life and the right to enjoy my own property.

“This ASBO is a clear and blatant breach of my human rights and I’ll fight it all the way.

“Until then, I will continue to sunbathe in the nude. If they want to lock me up, they’ll just make me a martyr.”

Gemma, of Birmingham, has the support of the West Midlands Clothing Free Confederation, a militant breakaway from British Naturism – the umbrella group for UK naturists.

John Elliot, spokesman for the WMCFC, said: “We are backing Gemma’s fight because we see this as not just an attack on her but an attack on all naturists by the forces of New Puritanism, backed up by a few religious groups.

“If we let Gemma fail, then we fail all naturists and no naturist is safe.”

But last night a neighbour of Gemma’s – who asked not to be named for fear of reprisals – insisted their complaint was not with Gemma’s nudity.

The neighbour shuddered: “She doesn’t just sunbathe, she touches herself.
