WALKING DEAD POLLY: I FANCY ZOMBIES

- By PENNY MARSHALL news@ sundaysport. co. uk

VULNERABLE: Pollyanna says zombies are like nudes, like her in film ( below) WALKING Dead beauty Pollyanna McIntosh has started FANCYING her undead zombie adversaries.

The Scots actress, 38, is one of the top stars on the U. S. blockbuster as character Jadis and is always in the thick of the blood- and- guts action.

And she has grown to love the living dead – known as Walkers on the show – and jokes they might even make a good dinner date.

Pollyanna says: “Unless they turn around and try to eat me then yes, I’m all for it.

“I’m pretty hard to scare these days, and the Walkers I have come across, I’ve found myself finding them beautiful.

“I wondered why because it wasn’t just the make- up and all the artwork and intricacy of that. I realised it was vulnerability.

“You know how a nude painting is beautiful because it shows a vulnerable human? A zombie is another level of that by showing the flesh underneath and it’s strangely beautiful.”

Getting the Walking Dead gig in the last series marked a sharp rise to the big leagues for the Edinburgh babe.

She made her name playing a drug addict in Irvine Welsh’s The Acid House at the age of 17 and went on to appear in another Welsh adaption, Filth, in 2013.

She’s also appeared in the likes of Taggart and Waterloo Road. And she appeared NAKED in the 2011 flick The Woman.

With Season 8 of The Walking Dead coming to UK screens tomorrow night, fans of the show will finally find out what happened to Jadis after her shock betrayal that ended the last series.
