PRANK: Student Sarah posed topless in uni library for pal A SEXY student who was suspended from her course for flashing her boobs in the collage library has been reinstated after university bigwigs intervened.

Sarah Jones, who had just started her second year studying English Literature at the University of West Lancashire, was threatened with EXPULSION after the topless snap circulated on social media.

But when she wrote about her plight on Facebook, the 20- year- old received pledges of support from around the world and a petition condemning her treatment was set up on petition website Change. org

Fearful of bad publicity, university vice- chancellor Alan Forbes ordered the Faculty of English to drop the student’s suspension and reinstate her on her course. ACTION: Alan Forbes

Last night, a delighted Sarah thanked all the people who had supported her.

She said: “I fully expected to be punished when my photo went viral. Posing topless in the uni library was a pretty silly thing to do, and I now know I should not have done it.

“But suspending me and threatening me with expulsion was a bit much, to be honest. That was punishing my future – all for a silly stunt. I’m glad so many people agreed with me and supported the petition.”

Busters

Julia Denning, also 20, who took the snap of her pal, said: “We were just larking about. I could not believe that they threatened to boot out Sarah.

“It’s all come good in the end but it took a lot of pressure. I’m not sure who started the online petition but I think it was a bloke who wanted to get his hands on Sarah’s busters. “Who cares? It did the trick!” Last night West Lancs vice chancellor Forbes said: “The setting of the photograph was inappropriate and could have encouraged rowdiness and hooliganism in the library.

“But to suggest the decision was reversed in response to online pressure is inaccurate.”
