A MARRIED Christian school teacher and mum of SEVEN has been arrested after being accused of romping with a teenage student.

Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, 43, is said to have shagged the lad – believed to have been 13 at the time – while working as a teacher at Coastal Christian School.

The alleged offences took place during the autumn of 2016 when Brann was a teacher at the school in Waldoboro, central Maine.

“There is no information the school administration had any knowledge of these alleged offences prior to being notified by investigators,” police said.

Brann was dismissed by the school shortly after the offences for unrelated issues, the sheriff confirmed.

There is currently no information that suggests she is employed at another school.

The ex- teacher has been charged with one count of Class A gross sexual assault and one count of Class C unlawful sexual contact.

The former is punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a £ 30,000 fine and the latter is punishable by up to five years in prison and a £ 3,000 fine. SEX CHARGE: Nancy Brann is banned from her school ( below)

She is currently on bail with the conditions that she must not have any contact with the victim, and must not return to Coastal Christian School and have no contact with children under the age of 16.
