LOVE ISLAND STAR EATEN BY SHARK

THE crew of the German version of Love Island are in mourning today after a former star was EATEN ALIVE by a giant SHARK!

Hunky Kurt Mueller, 25, fell in love with the tropics while filming Adam Sucht Eva, a sort of naked Love Island, in French Polynesia in 2014.

He moved to the South Seas to work as a charity volunteer, repairing huts after typhoons and immunising against tropical diseases.

But his good work came to an end on Wednesday when he was bitten clean in two by a large shark – thought to be either a Great White or blue shark – while snorkelling off the island of Vaitape.

A witness said: “He didn’t even have time to scream. The shark came out of nowhere and bit him in half with one chomp.

“Kurt’s top half flew into the air while the shark swallowed his bottom half.

“Other sharks raced in and were fighting over his bits. The surf was red with blood and gore.

“Seagulls swept down to snatch up gobbets of flesh that the sharks had missed.

“If you thought Jaws was gory, this made Jaws look like Mary Poppins. And not in a good way.”

A source close to the Adam Sucht Eva production team said: “Kurt was a key component of the 2014 series and his passing is sad.”

Meanwhile, in the Brit version of Love Island – where, mercifully, none of the contestants has yet been eaten by a shark – Georgia Steel and Sam Bird sensationally quit the show and Laura Anderson said she fancied Eamonn Holmes.
