BEAST MINCED LOVER AND FLUSHED HER DOWN THE BOG

HAPPIER TIMES: Dmitry Zelensky with his estranged missus Tatiana DISMEMBERED: University graduate Tatiana Melekhina A BOYFRIEND killed and dismembered his lover, flushed her ‘ minced meat’ down the toilet and threw her bones in a river to be gnawed by fish.

Evil Dmitry Zelensky, 36, had promised his girlfriend, university graduate Tatiana Melekhina, 27, a new start for them both in a big city. They drove from their remote Russian town of Gubakha – but she never arrived in the regional capital of Perm.

Zelensky, unknown to his girlfriend, was secretly married with a daughter and had no intention of moving permanently to the city.

A police source said the “exceptional cruelty” of the murder had “even shocked Russians”.

“He did not just cut up her body, he separated the meat and bones and made mince,” said the source.

“Then he washed this mince down the toilet, into the sewage system.

“He threw the bones into the river. This was his plan – to hide the murder.”

Tatiana was reported missing by her father after she failed to call him to confirm she had arrived in Perm.

She had promised him before leaving on the 250- mile trip: “I will call you as soon as I get to the city.”

Zelensky confessed to cops about the savage killing and the gruesome details of how he got rid of his lover’s body during his first interrogation.

He is expected to be detained for two months pending investigation.

Police have not specified where Miss Melekhina was killed.

Zelensky’s shocked wife – who is also called Tatiana – said: “I don’t know what to say.”

The 44- year- old said they had been living apart but that they were not divorced.

She added: “I didn’t know he could be so cruel.”
