I am Boris Johnson’s secret TWIN!
A MAN claiming to be Boris Johnson’s secret TWIN last night defended the former Foreign Secretary and insisted: “My brother is not a racist.”
Arch- Brexiteer Boris blew up a storm last week when, in a Daily Telegraph article, he argued against a ban on burkas but said women wearing them looked like letterboxes or bank robbers.
Suspects
As Boris no doubt anticipated, the comments created a furore and there were even calls to throw him out of the Tory Party amid accusations of racism from the usual suspects. But Bill “Billy” Johnson, who claims that he’s Boris’s long- lost twin, said: “Even though he and I have never met, I know – being his twin – that Boris is no racist. “It’s hurtful to hear all those nasty things they are saying about him but I suppose that’s the life he’s chosen, being in politics and all.” Billy, who lives alone in a caravan near Frenchbeer, Devon, said: “I don’t suppose Boris could be a racist even if he wanted to be. After all, he was mayor of London and there’s all sorts there, from what I’ve seen on my TV set. Not so many down this way, though. Not many at all. And don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying that’s a good thing. It’s just how it is.”
Billy, who says he opts not to wear trousers, said: “I tried to phone Boris but his secretary said the court order meant I wasn’t allowed to contact him any more.
“Not after that business of me trying to climb over his back wall.
“So I’ve come to Sunday Sport to make sure he knows I support him and that I’ve got his back. And if he ever wants to get away from the London hurly- burly, he can always come down to Devon and spend a few days in the caravan with me. I’ve emptied the toilet now, so the smell’s not too bad.”
A host of voices – mainly from the Remain camp who are hostile to the MP’s pro- Brexit stance – have condemned Boris’s description of women in burkas and called for him to apologise.
