CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER

-

REALITY TV show Celebrity Big Brother welcomed 13 new housemates into the infamous compound on Thursday night.

It is widely rumoured to be the last EVER series, so here’s 10 things about the show you might not know… TWO housemates have cheated on their partners in full view of the nation. Stephen Bear, 28, shagged Playboy model Chloe Khan, 27, in 2016 and Stephanie Davis, 25, cheated on her fella with Irish model Jeremy McConnell, 28. THERE have been no shortage of dramatic exit, but nothing compares to 70- year- old Leo Sayer’s epic strop over dirty pants. Sayer popped into the diary room to ask for new underwear but when they refused, he smashed the fire doors open and proceeded to struggle with two hefty security guards. BAYWATCH star Jeremy Jackson, 37, was cautioned for common assault in 2015. After drinking too much he exposed 25- year- old Chloe Goodman’s boobs without her consent. After he was chucked out, police brought him up on charges and cautioned the actor. CELEBRITY Big Brother is the most complained about show on television and has been hit with well over 50,000 Ofcom complaints. THE only American house guest to win the show was actor Gary Busey, 74, in 2014. IN 2000, a lawsuit was brought upon CBB by Voyeurdorm. com. They claimed Big Brother was their idea formed in 1999. Voeuydorm. com was an adult website which showed eight women living, eating, and sleeping naked under 55 cameras. CHANNEL 4 first released a version of the show in Britain in 2001. It was originally intended to be a one- time special and only lasted for eight days. JOHN de Mol, 63, created Big Brother in 1997. The show began its run in 1999 in the Netherlands. BIG Bro contestants are not allowed access to TV, radio, phones, the internet, and even writing paper. They can, however, play chess. And the only book allowed inside the house is the Holy Bible. SINGING or quoting movies is not allowed for copyright reasons.
