Girl tricked fella into gay sex act

BLACKMAILER TOLD VICTIM THAT IT WAS HER FANTASY

-

A SCHEMING woman blackmailed a man after tricking him into performing her sexual fantasy and then threatening to leak the video footage.

Amy Ashton, 28, persuaded the victim to carry out a sex act with a man, and secretly filmed it. She then demanded £ 3,000 from the victim. Ashton’s cruel act drove her victim to have suicidal thoughts, with him telling Hull Crown Court through a statement she had “destroyed him”.

Judge Mark Bury told her: “He reported this to the police and you have brought him to a low ebb. In fact, in his first statement he says you destroyed him and he was feeling suicidal.”

After obtaining the footage, Ashton, of East Hull, made threats to leak the footage unless he paid up.

“She even sent it on to one person but they did not open it and instead, along with the victim, reported it to the police.

In court, she pleaded guilty to blackmail and revenge porn.

Judge Bury said: “You messaged him asking him to perform acts in accordance with sexual fantasies of yours and that resulted in a sexual experience on his part with a man which was filmed, and you received a copy of the footage.

“Shortly thereafter, you began to make threats about those films that you were going to disclose them unless he paid you £ 3,000.

“You repeated the threats the following day. Indeed, you did in fact send some photos and footage.

“However, the person had the maturity to not open the material you sent him and in fact kept it for the police. And so, in the event of that, there was no circulation of the material you had obtained.”

Judge Bury added how her actions had led to a “dramatic effect” on the victim’s wellbeing.

Ashton’s defence told the court that she had had a “challenging life” and that her appearance before the court has been “a real eye opener”.

Judge Bury agreed Ashton after reading a psychiatric report of her difficult upbringing.

Sentencing Ashton to 18 months, suspended for two years, he said: “You are not out of the woods quite yet. You need to put this behind you and move on.”
