SUSSIES MUM BIT COP
A MUM- of- two who bit and hurled racist abuse at a police officer while wearing black suspenders and a dressing gown has been jailed for 18 months.
Hull Crown Court was shown police body cam footage of Gemma Johnson, 34, sporting a pink dressing gown and black suspenders, lying on top of PC Hussain and biting the officer’s hands.
In the footage Johnson ( left) was heard screaming: “Stop that f** king p** i from hitting my daughters. Get that f** king p** i.”
Prosecutor Claire Holmes said the officer was concerned one of the bites had broken the skin and she “didn’t know what she may have contracted”.
Miss Holmes said: “In the footage you can hear her saying ‘ f** king p** i’ and the word ‘ p** i’ being used to describe officer Hussain. The officer is heard in the footage saying, ‘ she bit me’.
“A second officer – officer Waller – begins to help the defendant to her feet and cover up her modesty with the dressing gown.
“However, as she led the defendant to the van, she calls her ‘ an ugly cow’ and then proceeded to spit in her face.”
Johnson, of Hull, pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers and racially aggravated public order offence, namely threatening behaviour, at an earlier hearing.
Catherine Kioko- Gilligan, defending, said Johnson’s recollection of events “remained hazy”, but accepted what she did “at the earliest opportunity”.
Johnson had received a 12- month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
