Santas banned from saying Ho Ho Ho in case it offends sex workers

OUTRAGE: ‘ Gentle Fury’ has called for a ‘ ho’ ban

IT’S been the cheery greeting booming from every Santa throughout our entire history.

But even the festive cry of “Ho Ho Ho” is no longer safe from snowflake activists.

A fringe LGBTQI+ group in Nottinghamshire says the phrase should be BANNED with immediate effect – as it offends sex workers.

“Ho” is a common American abbreviation of the word “whore” and is often used as a derogatory term for women in the lyrics of songs performed by U. S. rappers.

The Notts outfit – who call themselves # WeHatePricks – screech that the word “ho” is “bullying, disrespectful and offensive to those who freely

HO NO: Santa is target for snowflake activists choose to work in the adult sex industry”.

A non- binary spokesperson, who gave “their” name as Gentle Fury, fumed: “Only in a far- right capitalist system could we see women and those who identify as women AND work in the sex industry openly lampooned by arguably the most potent symbol of the vile Western patriarchy.

“Children are indoctrinated by a fantasy figure dreamt up by evil global corporations to think it’s okay to call people a ‘ ho’ during the so- called season of goodwill.

“Members of the sex work community do not deserve to be treated with such contempt.

“It needs to stop and it needs to stop now. After an extensive workshopping session we believe the only acceptable greeting for Father Christmas, who by the way should be called Caregiver Christmas, is ‘ good day, good day, good day’.

“Hang on, that’s offensive to people who work night shifts.

“Actually let’s make all Caregiver Christmases silent. Unless that’s offensive to the mute community... Oh, let’s just ban Christmas!”

But Alan Meelan, professor of English Language at the University of West Lancashire, dismissed the complaints as “ludicrous”.

He said: “The ‘ Ho’ in Ho ho ho is a hail or greeting from Saxon English. It’s is nothing do with hookers.”
