SCAT FAN BUYS TRAINSPOTTING TOILET FOR £50,000
A MYSTERY collector with a sick plop fetish has paid a whopping £ 50,000 for the shit- covered toilet that appeared in the movie
Trainspotting.
The unnamed weirdo – thought to be from eastern Europe – was the winning bidder in the specialist online auction last Thursday.
It’s not entirely clear how the filthy lavvy – which played a gut- churning part in the 1996 film – came to be on sale.
A spokesman at
Very Good Yes Auction. co ms aid: “This was a very special sale with just one lot – the very toilet that appeared in famous Scottish movie The Trainspotting, which was starring Mr Ewan McGregor and the schoolgirl who takes off her clothes to reveal her all- grown- up pubic hair.
Pervert
“I am asked not reveal buyer name but he tell me the soilage of the toilet was of “especial interest” to him as we are told the gentleman is an advanced pervert.”
Trainspotting,
which starred Ewan McGregor and hot Kelly Macdonald was based on author Irvine Welsh’s foul- mouthed novel set in Edinburgh’s drug- ravaged underclass.
In one scene, McGregor’s character Renton dives into the shit- smeared toilet in a revolting dream sequence to retrieve an opiate- filled suppository from the drain.
In slightly more salubrious movie memorabilia news, Superman’s cape is one of the lots going under the hammer tomorrow in Los Angeles.
The cape – which was worn by Christopher Reeve in the 1978 film – is one of 400 lots up for grabs in swanky Beverly Hills during the Icons & Idols auction and could fetch over £ 150,000 when it goes on sale tomorrow.
Other items in the auction include Bilbo Baggins’ cape from the Lord of the Rings, the iconic chopper motorbike from Easy
Rider and Robocop’s pistol. Captain Kirk’s jacket from the original Star Trek is also up for sale.
