Duke dyes hair to dodge anti-gingerism

PRINCE Harry has dyed his hair and beard JET BLACK to avoid violent ANTI- GINGER prejudice in Canada, insiders say.

The Duke of Sussex, 35, and his 38- year- old wife Meghan have moved to Canada to get away from what they imagined was unwarranted media intrusion in the UK.

Walt Coolidge, who is professor of cultural studies at the University of Winnipeg, said: “For various cultural and genetic reasons we still don’t fully understand why there are almost no gingers in Canada.

“Right up until the 1920s, gingers were routinely sterilised to prevent them breeding.

“Even after legislation was passed in the early 1980s to outlaw rabid anti- ginger bias the ingrained mindset remained.

“It’s a chilling fact that even though gingers make up just 0.003 per cent of the Canadian population, they account for 14 per cent of the nation’s murder victims.

“It’s sad that Harry has felt the need to dye his hair but that’s the reality, even in modern, liberal Canada.”

Last night a source close to the formerly royal couple said details of Prince Harry’s hair were not discussed publicly for “operational reasons”.
