The 44- year- old – jailed in 2008 for the botched kidnap of her daughter Shannon, then aged nine – looked on in horror as convicted nonces Robert Sims, 35, and James Ealing, 31, kicked off after she ordered food at the bar.
Upon spotting Matthews, who has dated at least two paedophiles, both men leapt in to offer to pay for her £ 7.99 meal – a classic grill of steak, lamb cutlets, bacon, sausages, black pudding, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, chips and peas.
An eyewitness said: “The two nonces – who both apparently enjoy sniffing playground swings – started arguing about paying Matthews. They thought they might be able to pull her because of her love for nonces.
“Eventually the staff managed to separate
them and kick them out.
“It was surreal. Why anyone would want to fight over that monster is beyond me.”
Sims and Ealing are on the Sex Offenders’ Register for offences described as “frankly weird” by authorities.
It was revealed last week that Matthews, formerly of Dewsbury, West Yorks, is planning on having a baby with fiancé Paul Saunders, 57, a convicted paedo caged in 2010 for having “sexual activities” with an underage teen.
That revelation came after the twisted mum was offered £ 50,000 by a mystery donor to leave the country.
Matthews was hand delivered a note with the offer after locals became angry over her relationship with Saunders.
Shannon was found by police under a bed at the home of Michael Donovan – the uncle of her mum’s then lover Craig Meehan.
