Pete said: “I said she should stay indoors because I read online that poorly hands was a symptom of coronavirus.

“I had to tell the neighbours Helen had suspected coronavirus because they were going to put her name on the local Facebook page and get everyone to troll her for not applauding the NHS heroes.”

And each successive Thursday night Helen, 32 – a furloughed account manager – came up with a new excuse.

Pete said: “Last week, I came back in after applauding and Helen had spunk all round her mouth.

“When I challenged her she admitted she’d been sucking off that brute from next door who works in the gym. And then she left me.

“I can’t believe that while I was saluting our NHS heroes – and other frontline key workers – she was sucking off him from next door.”

As Sunday Sport went to print last night the whereabouts of Helen and her neighbour lover – named locally as Martin Smith – were unknown.
